(NYSE: EFOR), today announced it has secured a three-year, sole-source indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract expansion with a ceiling of $148 million to continue supporting the Chief Digital and AI Office’s (CDAO) Secure Unclassified Network (SUNet), building on more than a decade of support for the program. Additionally, Everforth ECS was selected under a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) to research and prototype the next generation of capabilities for SUNet 2.0, advancing CDAO modernization priorities.

Under the expanded SUNet contract, Everforth ECS will continue to manage and maintain the operational environment while supporting the transition of mission capabilities to future SUNet architecture.

The contract expansion follows Everforth ECS’ selection to prototype SUNet 2.0 on behalf of the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering and the CDAO. SUNet 2.0 is designed to provide Department of War (DoW) organizations and mission partners with a secure digital environment to collaborate and rapidly develop, test, and validate emerging AI/ML capabilities.

Together, the awards position Everforth ECS to sustain today’s mission while helping shape the next generation of SUNet capabilities. Everforth ECS brings more than a decade of operational experience supporting SUNet, giving the team a deep understanding of its users, mission requirements, and operating environment as the Government explores the next phase of the platform.

Everforth ECS supports SUNet across its full lifecycle for the DoW, sustaining the current enterprise for existing mission users while developing SUNet 2.0, a secure sandbox for rapid AI/ML experimentation. The modernization effort will explore modern hybrid cloud, zero trust controls, and modern data management capabilities designed to reduce the time required to onboard users and move new capabilities toward mission use.
