New integration will enable patients to retrieve longitudinal clinical records and contribute supported patient-generated health data to authorized care teams
KANSAS CITY, MO, UNITED STATES, September 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — MyDigiRecords and KONZA Health today announced a partnership to connect a patient-controlled personal health record with KONZA Health’s health information exchange, enabling bidirectional exchange between patients and authorized care teams.
The planned integration will allow patients to securely retrieve available clinical information from KONZA Health directly into the MyDigiRecords application. With the patient’s authorization, supported information maintained or generated within MDR, including SmartVitals™ wellness measurements and other patient-provided health information, will also be contributed back through KONZA Health for access by authorized healthcare professionals.

Moving Beyond One-Way Patient Access
Traditional patient portals generally provide access to information from a single healthcare organization. Patients who receive care from multiple providers may still need to navigate separate portals, request records or repeatedly reconstruct their medical histories.
The MyDigiRecords and KONZA Health integration is designed to create a different model:
• Patients can retrieve available longitudinal clinical information through KONZA Health and organize it within their personal MDR health profile.
• Patients remain in control of their information and authorize how it is shared.
• Supported patient-generated information can move from MDR back through KONZA Health to providers.
• Authorized healthcare professionals can access a broader view of the patient, including relevant information captured outside conventional care encounters.
Connecting supported MDR information with KONZA Health could help care teams better understand what is happening between traditional clinical encounters, while giving patients greater control over the information available to support their care.
KONZA Health’s HIE services bring together records from diverse clinical sources to create comprehensive longitudinal patient records. Its interoperability services support bidirectional exchange, clinical document sharing and query-based access across connected local and national networks.
