Big Berkey Water Filters Launches Berkey With Phoenix Filters, From $267

The largest authorized Berkey dealer in the US now offers the Big Berkey and Royal Berkey with NSF listed Phoenix filters, $100 below Black Berkey editions.

BRIELLE, NJ, UNITED STATES, October 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — BigBerkeyWaterFilters.com, the largest authorized Berkey dealer in the United States, today announced that the Big Berkey and Royal Berkey gravity water filter systems are now available equipped with Berkey Phoenix Gravity New Millennium Edition filter elements. The Big Berkey with two Phoenix elements is $267, and the Royal Berkey with two Phoenix elements is $308. That is $100 less than the same systems with Black Berkey elements.

The stainless steel system has not changed. Each system uses the same polished 304 stainless steel chambers, lid and spigot that Berkey owners know. The difference is the filter inside. Phoenix elements are made for New Millennium Concepts, the maker of Berkey, and were introduced in late 2025 as the replacement for Black Berkey elements. They now come installed in new systems. Berkey systems equipped with Phoenix elements are NSF listed for NSF/ANSI 42 and NSF/ANSI/CAN 372. Independent labs have tested Phoenix elements against more than 200 contaminants found in treated municipal and well water, including PFAS, lead, chlorine, chloramine, VOCs, pesticides and pharmaceuticals. Phoenix elements also filter faster, and a pair is rated for 5,500 gallons, about 3 to 5 years for a typical household.

Both systems are available with 2 or 4 Phoenix elements. The 4 element versions, $387 for the Big Berkey and $428 for the Royal Berkey, deliver the fastest flow. The Big Berkey and Royal Berkey with Black Berkey elements, $367 and $408, remain available while limited supplies last. Travel, Imperial and Crown sizes are expected to follow as the manufacturer releases them.

“We’ve sold Berkey systems since 2008, and this is the biggest step forward we’ve seen in that time,” said Dan DeBaun, owner of BigBerkeyWaterFilters.com. “Phoenix gives families the Berkey they already trust, with NSF listed filters, faster flow and a lower price. The future of Berkey is bright, and we’re excited!”

Every system sold by BigBerkeyWaterFilters.com includes the company’s exclusive lifetime warranty on the stainless steel system and hardware, plus free shipping on orders over $99. The company is BBB Accredited with an A+ rating and has more than 12,000 customer reviews. They sell only through their own website and encourage buyers to purchase from an authorized dealer. Counterfeit Berkey filters and systems are common on third-party marketplaces, and Berkey products sold there do not carry their lifetime stainless warranty.

Prices, a side by side comparison of the Phoenix and Black Berkey editions, and lab results are in the full announcement: Introducing the Berkey With Phoenix Filters.
